    PHMB Alginate Dressing is a sterile, single-use dressing consisting of calcium alginate fiber treated with polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB)，which is a brand new advanced wound care product. It solves the passivated problem of chemical reaction between alginate and PHMB, which provides safe and good 7-day antimicrobial activities for infected wounds. This dressing not only has alginate property of providing moist wound environment, but also offers PHMB advantage of highly effective safety. 

    Unlike regular impregnated manufacturing method of the other PHMB wound dressings,  PHMB Alginate Dressing achieves that a lower content of PHMB has sustained broad-spectrum antibacterial effect by using state-of-the-art technology to bond PHMB onto alginate fibers at the very beginning. Bacteria and moisture are well managed in the dressing. It protects against the development of wound infection by decreasing the bioburden in the dressing and bacterial penetration through the dressing.
